Easy 3-Ingredient Crushed Strawberry and Cream Dessert
Make this quick and easy 3-ingredient strawberry dessert using mashed strawberries, sugar, and cream. A simple, no-cook recipe that is ready in minutes!
1tablespoonBrown sugarsame in metric or ½ teaspoon stevia
Instructions
Prepare the Strawberries. First, remove the green tops from the strawberries. Give them a good wash and pat them dry. Then, cut them into small, similar-sized pieces. This makes them easier to crush.
1½ cups Strawberries
Crush with Sugar. Next, place the strawberry pieces into your bowl. Sprinkle the brown sugar over them. Now, take your fork and start crushing and mashing them. You don't want a smooth puree; you want a rough, chunky texture with lots of juicy liquid.
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
Add the Cream. Now, pour the heavy cream into the bowl with the crushed strawberries.
¼ cup Heavy cream
Mix and Crush Again. Use your fork to mix everything together. As you mix, give the strawberries a few more light crushes. This helps the pink juices swirl into the white cream, creating a beautiful pink color and a creamy strawberries and whipped cream dessert. Stop when the cream is thick and holds its shape.

Notes
Best Served Fresh: This strawberry and cream dessert is at its best right after making it. The cream is at its fluffiest and the strawberries are perfectly juicy.
Make-Ahead Tip: You can prep the strawberries (crush them with sugar) up to 2 hours ahead. Keep them covered in the fridge and fold in the cold cream just before serving.
Cream Temperature is Key: For the thickest, creamiest texture, make sure your heavy cream is very cold straight from the refrigerator.
Adjust Sweetness: Taste your strawberries! If they are very sweet, you can reduce the sugar slightly. If they are tart, you might want to add a little more.
Storage: Store any strawberry and cream dessert leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. The strawberries will release more liquid over time, making them softer but still delicious.
